From a young age, a passion for helping others drove Dr. Kolton Erickson’s desire to enter the medical field. During his time in dental school he had the opportunity to serve on two medical/dental missions to Brazil and Panama. These missions helped him discover how much he enjoyed working with youth and inspired him to pursue a career where he could positively influence teenagers and young adults. Specializing in Orthodontics has allowed him that exact opportunity and furthered his belief that a smile truly can change a person’s life. Dr. Erickson is eager to give back to the Casper community and looks forward to fostering lasting relationships with his patients.
Dr. Erickson is Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthodontics and received his specialty training at the University of Colorado, Denver, where he received his Master of Dental Science (M.S.D.) degree and Certificate in Orthodontics. During this time, he also received advanced certificates in both Invisalign and Lingual Braces Services. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree from Nova Southeastern University graduating with high honors. Prior to this, he completed undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, in the field of Chemistry. Dr. Erickson has also had the privilege of becoming the VP of the Wyoming Association of Orthodontists and a member on the WDH Cleft Palate Evaluation Team.
Dr. Erickson and his wife Amy are excited to be members of the Casper/Wyoming community and can’t wait to raise their family here. Their son, Kasen, was born at Wyoming Medical Center in April of 2015 and is already 307’s biggest fan! The whole family enjoy the variety of outdoor activities that Casper provides.
